CARTERVILLE — The Collinsville Kahoks showed why they are favorites this week at the Pyramid Plus Tournament being held in Carterville, taking down the hosts 66-39.

In the nightcap, Mt. Vernon jumped out to a 24-4 lead after one and held on to beat Herrin 52-42.
The tournament will continue Wednesday night with Mt. Vernon meeting Carterville at 6:00 followed by Herrin and Marion.
