ELKVILLE — Mascoutah won the battle of Indians at the Domino’s Shootout hosted by Elverado High School, beating Du Quoin 71-65.
Du Quoin erased a seven-point halftime deficit to tie the game at 54 heading to the fourth, but Mascoutah outscored Du Quoin 17-11 in the final frame for the win.
Du Quoin will return to River to River-Mississippi play Friday with a visit to Anna-Jonesboro.
