MARION — Southern Illinois Bass Busters will be holding its inaugural Buddy Bass tournament to benefit Special Olympics Saturday at Crab Orchard Lake.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Special Olympics Illinois Region K.

Cost for a 2-person team is $170. There is a 200 team limit.

There will be a mandatory pre-tournament meeting Friday night at 6:30 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Herrin, with the competition set to start at 6:00 AM Saturday morning.

The virtual weigh in will be aired Saturday at 3:00 on the Special Olympics Illinois Region K Facebook page.
