WEST FRANKFORT — The Carmi-White County Bulldogs put three in the top six to claim their third straight Black Diamond Conference championship Friday at Franklin County Country Club.
KaCee Fulkerson was the Bulldogs’ top finisher. His 77 was good enough for third place, one shot and one place ahead of teammate Ty Barbre. Kaden Carter finished sixth with a 79. Gage Atteberry’s 85 rounded out the top four for Carmi. The 319 team score was six shots better than Chester.
Yellow Jackets’ senior Jarrett James took home medalist honors for the second straight year. James finished with a three-over 74, which was two shots better than Goreville’s AJ Johnson.
