CARTERVILLE — With a field that featured half our Volleyball Coaches’ Poll top 10 as well as two more teams receiving votes, the Nashville Hornettes were the last team standing to win the annual SIRR Preview Tournament.

Pinckneyville, Carterville, and Nashville made it to the Gold Division. The Lady Lions beat the Panthers 25-22, 25-18. The Hornettes then beat the Lady Lions 25-13, 26-24, and then clinched the tournament title by beating the Panthers 21-25, 25-23, 15-7.
