MARION — The NCOE Fighting Cardinals are one of only two 1A schools in our Deep South Volleyball Coaches’ Poll, with Woodlawn being the other. NCOE cracked the top 5 this week, checking in at number five.

Jaclyn Melton’s club showed why they belong with the big schools, cruising to a 25-13, 25-17 win at 3A Marion Tuesday night.

With the win, NCOE improves to 15-1. Marion falls to 7-5.
