PINCKNEYVILLE — The Pinckneyville Lady Panthers clinched the SIRR Mississippi volleyball championship with a 25-21, 25-21 win over Nashville Tuesday night.

It’s been quite a stretch for the Lady Panthers. Following being shut down for two weeks in early September due to Covid protocols, Pinckneyville fell to 3-4 after a loss to Du Quoin . Since then, Lady Panthers have won 12 of 13, including six straight conference wins to capture the loaded Mississippi.

Pinckneyville will close out conference play Thursday night at Carterville. Nashville finishes at home against Du Quoin.
