CASEY — The NCOE Fighting Cardinals saw their fantastic volleyball season end one win shy of the state semifinals, as they fell to St. Thomas More from Champaign 25-18, 25-11 in the Casey-Westfield 1A Super-sectional.

The Sabers, who won a 3A regional championship in 2019, feature three Division 1 commits. Ohio State-bound Anna McClure sealed the victory with a kill.

NCOE finishes 35-3.
