ELDORADO — The top-seeded Herrin Tigers came out sizzling the nets at Duff-Kingston Gymnasium, jumping out to a quick double digit lead on Massac County and cruising to the school’s first Eldorado Holiday Tournament title with a 53-36 win.
The Tigers led 31-18 at the half and never let Massac County get closer than 11 in the second half.
Herrin senior Riley Chrostoski led all scorers with 19 points. Freshman Kyrese Lukens added 12, and tournament MVP Haydon Mayer tallied 10. Will Harmon led the Patriots with 11.
