ELDORADO — Eldorado’s Lilly Mosby is the Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Player of the Week for January 10-15.

The senior has been a stat sheet stuffer this season. During this particular week, she averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds in three Lady Eagles’ wins.

Mosby says the success she’s having this season means more, after missing last season due to injury. She broke her foot in four places and missed basketball season and part of the volleyball season.

Mosby says the unwanted time away from the game as well as the uncertainty of playing during a pandemic provide her even more motivation.

Mosby surpassed 1000 career points in the Lady Eagles win over Hamilton County Thursday night.
