Calvon Clemons, Murphysboro: The senior scored 29 points in two wins helping lead the Red Devils to the West Frankfort 2A Regional championship.
Abby Compton, Goreville: The sophomore scored 53 points and grabbed 27 rebounds in two wins helping lead the Lady Blackcats to the Sesser-Valier 1A Sectional championship.
Alecia Doyle, Carterville: The senior scored 41 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in two wins helping lead the Lady Lions to the Nashville 2A Sectional championship.
Scout Hudgens, Christopher: The sophomore scored 29 points in two wins helping lead the Bearcats to the
Elverado 1A Regional championship. Hudgens scored 23, making 6-7 3-pt field goals in the Bearcats’ championship game win over Sesser-Valier.
Alivia Ming, Goreville: The sophomore finished 4th in the 135 pound weight class in the first Girls State Wrestling Tournament in Bloomington.
Venson Newsom, Marion: The senior scored 19 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and blocked 5 shots in 2 wins helping Marion win the Richland County 3A Regional. Newsom hit the game winning shot with :04 in the win over Mascoutah, then blocked a potential game-tying 3-point shot in the closing seconds in the win over previously unbeaten Richland County.
Briley Rhodes, Okawville: The junior scored 40 points in two wins helping lead the Lady Rockets to the Bunker Hill 1A Sectional championship.
Davin Tabor, Centralia: The senior scored 33 points in two wins helping lead the Orphans to the Centralia 3A Regional championship.
