Morgan Bernardini, Elverado: The senior went 15-23 with 7 doubles, 2 triples, and 3 home runs, with 16 runs scored and 13 RBIs at the plate. Bernardini was 3-1 with a 2.59 ERA pitching, with 35 strikeouts in 24.1 innings
Marteena Clover, Murphysboro: The sophomore went 9-15 with a double, home run, 5 runs scored and 7 RBIs
Trey Cole, ZRC: The junior went 2-0 on the mound, not allowing an earned run in 9.2 innings while striking out 19. Cole also hit .375 for the week with 3 RBIs.
Gavin Genisio, Benton: The sophomore finished 5th in the mile at the Adidas Indoor Nationals in Virginia Beach, Virginia with a time of 4:18.98.
Maryiah Menicucci, Marion: The senior finished 2nd out of 28 throwers at the Gene Armer Invitational at the University of Illinois with an indoor school shot put record throw of 38’7″.
Kerrigan Payne, Harrisburg: The senior went 8-11 with 3 doubles, a home run and 8 RBIs at the plate. Payne was 3-0 pitching, allowing 3 earned runs on 11 hits in 16 innings pitched while striking out 16.
