Here are the nominees:
Amir Johnson, Centralia: The senior scored 6 touchdowns helping lead the Orphans to a 58-12 win over Olney. Johnson rushed for 135 yards and 5 TDs and added an interception return TD for his sixth score of the night.
Nate Kaufman, Agape Christian: The senior struck out 16, including 12 in a row, in a 4-2 win over Cobden.
Tiffin Kouzoukas, Benton: The sophomore completed 16 of 18 passes for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns, ran for 16 yards and another touchdown, and added a 2-point conversion helping the Rangers to a 54-6 win over Chester.
Megan McNitt, Murphysboro: The junior tallied 76 kills, 3 blocks, 7 aces, and 47 digs to help the Red Devils to a 6-1 record and the championship of the Du Quoin Tournament. McNitt was named to the all-tournament team.
Dylon Nalley, Marion: The junior finished second at the Granite City Invitational with a time of 14:38, which is the top time in the state this season.
Ross Rider, Harrisburg: The senior rushed 24 times for 193 yards and scored a touchdown to help the Bulldogs to a 25-14 win over Du Quoin.
Emersyn Robbins, Fairfield: The junior tallied 87 kills, 9 blocks, and 37 digs to help the Lady Mules to a 6-0 record and the championship of the Tiger Classic at Olney. Robbins was named to the all-tournament team.
Jack Turner, Massac County: The sophomore had a goal and 4 assists to help lead the Patriots to a 4-1 win over Pinckneyville and a 3-3 tie with Harrisburg.
