This week’s WMIX Sports/Josh Finley Country Financial Ram of the Week award goes to the Mt. Vernon Runnin’ Rams! The Rams ran away with the IHSA Class 2A Regional at Olney City Park on Sat., Oct. 22. The Rams were led by Trey Mygatt’s 2nd place performance while Caedmon Cook (5th) and Brandon Etheridge (8th) also finished in the Top 10. The regional championship was the program’s first since 2015. Next up for the Rams is the Chatham (Glenwood) Sectional on Sat., Oct. 29. Way to go, Rams!
