Benton opens with impressive win at Marion

MARION — A monster night from senior Ensley Tedeschi helped Benton make Dave Brown’s debut as the Rangerettes’ head coach a victorious one with a 71-54 win at Marion.

Tedeschi stuffed the stat sheet, pouring in 27 points to go with five rebounds, six assists, seven steals, and three blocks. Malia Webb added 11 points and Braelyn Miller 10 for the Rangerettes.

The Rangerettes jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back, leading 20-6 after one and 41-17 at the half.

Jerzy Bittle led Marion with 18 points. Alexis Ucci and Maggie Hartwell added 10 points apiece for the Lady Wildcats.
