Congratulations to the Mt. Vernon FFA Horticulture Team! This week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Rams of the Week from WMIX Sports finished 13th at the Illinois FFA State Horticulture CDE, held at Parkland College! Students took a content knowledge test, identified 50 different species of plants, constructed a corsage, placed 8 judging rings, and completed a pruning practicum. The team consisted of Azelia Badger, Ava Lowery, Caitlynn Currie, Izak Wisneski, and Addison Stamper. Great job, everyone!
