Congratulations to Mt. Vernon Rams Baseball’s Trevor McClure! Trevor stole 2 bases against Nashville to break the single season stolen base record that had stood for nearly 30 years. The total gave Trevor 27 swipes breaking Brian Monroe’s 25 stolen base mark from the 1995 state finals season. As of this writing, Trevor now has 29 stolen bases to add to his .312 avg, .385 OBP, 27 runs scored, and 16 RBI in his freshman season. Way to go, Trevor!
