Congratulations to this week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Ram of the Week from WMIX Sports! This week Mt. Vernon Rams and Lady Rams Cross Country are celebrated for their South Seven Conference Championships! Both teams claimed conference crowns on the home course at Mt. Vernon Township High School on Thursday, October 17.
The Rams were paced by Junior Rowan Wilford’s fourth-place finish at 15:48.74 while the Lady Rams were led by Sophomore Kenny Bax and her fourth-place time of 19:30.26. All Rams finished in the top 15 with all Lady Rams claiming top 20 performances.
