Congratulations to this week’s WMCL FOXES of the week, Junior Shiloh Willis and Senior Emily Coffey. These 2 were chosen to represent Hamilton County High School at the Quad State Choral Festival on the campus of Murray State University. Their auditions were chosen from over 1,300 students at 45 schools across five states. Shiloh was chosen for her second year and Emily for her first. The festival will take place on the MSU campus on November 4 & 5 with a focus on the music of Mozart. Again, congratulations on this honor!

A shoutout and another special congratulations is also due for the ten choir students who spent Thursday, October 24th on the campus of SIU Carbondale participating in their annual High School Choral Festival. Students spent time in sectional rehearsals with college professors preparing for a concert that evening. The groups were split into freshman/sophomore two part treble choir and junior/senior four part treble choir. Directors were Dr. Susan Davenport, Dr. Mark Statler and Mr. Mason Rice. A men’s choir also performed along with groups from SIU.

Students attending were seniors Kaydee Ford, Emily Coffey and Aeries Hardig, juniors Katie Lakin, Blossom Sherry and Shiloh Willis, sophomores, Charley Burton, McKenna Casey MaKenzie Service and freshman Autum Holsapple.

Congratulations to all of you for this honor and we wish you continued success!
