Congratulations to Rams Wrestling Dillon White! White is this week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Ram of the Week from WMIX Sports! On Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21, Dillon wrestled in the 2024 Dale Breckel Invite at Mascoutah where he claimed another CHAMPIONSHIP in the 144 pound weight class. After an opening round bye, Dillon won by pinfall in 32-seconds over Jacksonville’s Wesley Ortiz and followed that up by pinning Mascoutah’s Jayden Wilkinson in 1:58. It look a little over a minute (1:03) for White to pin Triad’s Brody Smith in the semifinals. It took a 9-3 decision to win the championship, but Dillon got it done over Mattoon’s Ben Capitosti. Dillon has a 16-0 record this season, according to TrackWrestling.com! Way to go, Dillon! Congratulations on another title and another Ram of the Week Award!
