The Hamilton County Jr. High Student Council participated in the Special Olympics first ever Frosty Face-Off on Friday, March 21st!
This is like a traditional polar plunge, but with a twist—an entire day of fun, excitement, and inclusion at Mt. Dew Park where schools can come together, celebrate community, and take the plunge! The school that raises the most money will win the Frosty Face Off traveling trophy!
All schools were welcome to join in, or come along for the fun next year, and the Special Olympics is thrilled to partner with Black Diamond Harley-Davidson and Inflatable Fun to ensure the event was a spectacular experience for all!
Each student had to raise $100 to plunge, and in return, they got:
✅ A Frosty Face Off plunge t-shirt
✅ A free lunch
✅ A day filled with fun, laughter, and inclusion while realizing the benefit to giving back to such a great organization.

And that, is why the Hamilton County Jr. High Student Council is this week’s WMCL/Lynn Braden with State Farm Insurance in McLeansboro’s Fox of The Week!
