This week’s WMIX Sports/Josh Finley, Country Financial Ram of the Week is Lady Rams Softball’s Lauren Little! Lauren had a phenomenal week at the plate and in the circle with wins over Effingham and Althoff. At Effingham on Weds., May 19, Little walked three times but in the circle threw a complete game shutout with 13 strikeouts. You’d think it’d be all down hill from there. Nope. Little had a PERFECTO against Althoff at home the next day! That’s right! Lauren had a perfect game with 12 strikeouts in an 18-0 win against the Lady Crusaders. At the plate Little was 2/2 with a home run, 3 runs scored, 5 runs batted in and two walks. She also graduated on Sat., May 22 which forced her to miss two games. Way to go, Lauren!
