BENTON — Our latest winner of the Orthopaedic Center of Southern Illinois Player of the Week is Benton senior wide receiver/defensive back Reid Baumgarte. This is for the week of September 6-11.

In the Rangers’ Week 3 53-0 win over Pinckneyville, Baumgarte had three catches for 76 yards and two touchdowns on offense and nine tackles plus three interceptions on defense, returning one of those interceptions an IHSA record-tying 109 yards for a touchdown.
