Here are your nominees:
Alecia Doyle, Carterville: The senior was named MVP after leading the Lady Lions to the championship of the Salem Girls Thanksgiving Tournament. Doyle scored 24 points in what turned out to be the championship game against Teutopolis. Earlier in the week, she scored 15 points in a win over Carbondale.
Rylee Edwards, Fairfield: The sophomore averaged 12 points and 5 rebounds in four games leading the Lady Mules to the championship of the Robinson Invitational. Edwards was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Carly Foster, Gallatin Co.: The junior averaged 20 points a game in helping the Lady Hawks finish 3-2 and in third place in the Lady Foxes Invitational Tournament. Foster was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Isaac Hosman, Massac Co.: The sophomore was named MVP after leading the Patriots to a 5-0 record and the Vienna Classic championship. Hosman averaged 15 point
Eric Rodgers, Fairfield: The junior averaged 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals in 4 games to help lead the Mules to a second place finish at the Lawrence County Capital Classic. Rodgers was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Colton Throgmorton, Crab Orchard: The junior was named MVP of the Country Financial Turkey Tournament at Elverado after averaging 18 points a game to lead the Trojans to the championship. Throgmorton scored a career high 28 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the title game.
