Congratulations to this week’s Josh Finley Country Financial Ram of the Week from WMIX Sports, Kamaree Pollard! Pollard was named the Most Valuable Player of the Carbondale Mid-Winter Classic on Saturday, January 25! Kamaree’s efforts paved the way for the Lady Rams Championship with wins against Cape Central (Cape Girardeau, MO), Pinckneyville and Marion. Pollard totaled 66 points, 17 rebounds, 15 assists, 13 steals, and 8 blocked shots in the three wins (with only limited action in the blowout win against Cape Central). The senior multi-sport athlete also netted All-Tourney Honors in the Nashville and Benton Tournaments this season and has since surpassed 1,200 career points and is on pace to become a Top 10 scorer in program history!
